5 Great Reasons to buy OPPO Band

Having already gained a strong foothold in the smartphone market, OPPO has now made its foray into the world of wearables. Yes, here we are talking about launching its own fitness band. In today’s times, fitness, health, and data tracking wearables are highly popular.

This is a profile image of the OPPO Band showing the display screen as well as the strap.

Wearing a fitness band on your wrist will help you track your physical activity every day. It can play a key role in your fitness journey by letting you set regular reminders, recording your workout statistics, suggesting different exercise tips, monitoring your health, and so on.

This tool helps in keeping a check on your health during your workout sessions as well as when you’re at rest or sleeping. With prolonged use, you will get into the habit of constantly being in action, which is very crucial, given that we lead a sedentary lifestyle these days.

The best part is, you can flaunt this band not only for your sports activities, but also to match your outfits. Thus, it serves a highly functional purpose while also being a great looker.

a.      The OPPO Fitness Band is expected to have all the features you would expect from a premium fitness band. For example, it monitors your blood oxygen level (SpO2 monitoring), for up to 480 minutes/28,800 times and tracks your sleeping patterns, heart rate, and so on.

The continuous SpO2 monitoring, which will be active even when the wearer is asleep, is being touted as the chief highlight of this fitness band. Going by the buzz in the market, the fitness band will be accompanied by a built-in optical blood oxygen sensor. This will be responsible for conducting non-stop SpO2 monitoring 28,800 times during an eight-hour sleep cycle.

b.      The OPPO Fitness Band will be powered by a 100mAh battery which can be used up to 12 days at a stretch on a single charge. What’s more? Well, the market speculations say that it can be topped up in only 1.5 hours.

c.      In terms of the design too, the fitness band is expected to look quite funky. From what I’ve read so far, it will sport a 1.1” full-colour AMOLED touch display, besides offering more than 40 watch faces. It is also likely to be equipped with customizable dials. The display will also most likely be covered with scratch-resistant glass and also cover 100% of the P3 colour gamut for flawless colour reproduction.

d.      The OPPO Fitness Band is also likely to offer a host of other convenience features such as, message notifications, incoming call notifications, water-resistance, weather reports, alarms, get-up reminders, music playback control, timer/stopwatch, and so on.

e.      Rumours are also doing the rounds that the fitness band will be equipped with 12 sports modes including outdoor run, outdoor cycling, outdoor walking, indoor cycling, indoor running, fat loss running, free training, badminton, swimming, rowing machine, elliptical machine, and weight training.
